“All the Rest We Need” was born out of the restless hurry we’ve all come to accept as normal. It’s a song that calls us to slow down and get honest with ourselves, inspired by Saint Augustine’s words:
Restless are our hearts, O God, until they find their rest in thee.” In a world that pulls us toward busyness and self- reliance, this song points us back to the stillness and honesty we can only find in the presence of
God — our true resting place.
